Tonight, it was the X Factor’s group category who will fight for their seat in the six chair challenge.
Have you been following the X Factor 2017 right from the very start? If you have, you would have noticed something very obvious.
There was not a lot of contestants who auditioned in the group’s category. You didn’t see much of the groups in the first audition. They were barely existent in the bootcamp either.
There was only around ten that was shown during the 6 chair challenge as well. So much so that Simon Cowell has to get a newly formed girlband who were rejects from Sharon’s girls category.
Yet to be named, the ‘New Girl Band” claimed they only had around 24 hours to practise. Simon felt they were good enough to get through to the next round so they were offered a seat.
However, there was none left. Which meant he needed to get rid of one act. Struggling to make the decision, he went for a sing-off between JBK and Lemonade.
Watch the group’s six chair challenge sing-off here:
Lemonade was given a chair and
JBK was sent home at the six chair challenge. Was it a case of a wrong song choice for the boyband? Or Lemonade happened to be more refreshing?
Simon Cowell’s chosen six groups
Mr. Cowell’s task in tonight’s UK reality tv show wasn’t difficult. This is because there was not a lot of contestants to choose from anyway. This was based on what was shown in the telly.
You could argue that it was probably cut shorter to accommodate TV commercials. Hence, some contestants were no longer shown.
Anyways, here are the lucky 6 groups who are one step away to the live show:
- The Cutkelvins
- Jack and Joel
- Sean and Conor Price
- New Girl Band
Are you happy with these six groups who are through to the next round of the X Factor 2017 audition?
